How to become a member

IMG_0720Lions meet the needs of local communities and the world. The 1.35 million members of our volunteer organisation in 206 countries and geographic areas are different in many ways, but share a core belief – community is what we make it.

The World’s Largest Service Club Organisation

Our 46,000 clubs and 1.35 million members make us the world’s largest service club organisation. We’re also one of the most effective. Our members do whatever is needed to help their local communities. Everywhere we work, we make friends. With children who need eyeglasses, with seniors who don’t have enough to eat and with people we may never meet.

If you’re interested in volunteering, leading projects, networking and having fun – you can do all of this and more as a Lions Club member. As a Lion, you’ll perform volunteer work to improve your community – and communities around the world. There are many Lions Clubs to choose from, but we’re guessing as you’ve landed here, you are interested in our Club – Crawley Lions Club.

In the first instance please contact our Membership Secretary, who would be very pleased to hear from you.

Membership is by invitation but we always welcome new members from all walks of life – why not have a new interest; one that you can enjoy, and involve other members of your family.
